Aerangis mystacidii is an species in the genus Aerangis.

Description[]

Plant blooms in summer to fall with five to twenty five 2.3cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant with the scent of lilies.

Distribution[]

Plants are found growing on small twigs and branches in forest and gorges near water in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia at elevations of 60 to 1800 meters

Culture[]

Plants are best grown in hanging baskets or mounted and usually require moderate lighting and warm temperatures. If grown in a basket or mounted, the roots must be watered frequently. Plants should be grown in media that is well drained such as tree fern fibers (for small plants),several pieces of coarse fir bark, or sphagnum moss.
