Description[]
Plants bloom from spring to summer with up to 15 flowers. Flowers are 7.5 cm wide and has a honey fragrance.
Distribution[]
Plant is found growing in trees near rivers in the lowland forest of Malaya to Borneo at elevations of 0 to 100 meters.
Culture[]
Plants are usually grown in baskets. Flower grows from warm to intermediate temperatures in partial shade. Water regularly in the summer and gradually reduce in the winter. Pot in medium fir bark.

Common name: The Black Orchid, referring to the very dark markings on the lip.
