Distribution[]
Plants are found in shady forest in leaf litter in Sichuan, Taiwan, and Hubei; China and Japan at elevations of 2000 to 3000 meters.
Culture[]
Keep plants in shade and the mix moist but not wet or dry. Pot in pH around 6. Plants have been cultivated in complete sphagnum moss, but it is not recommended. A mix of 50% gravel, 25% perlite and 25% fine bar have been used to grow potted plants. Plant is very unforgiving.
