Dendrobium aduncum is a species of genus Dendrobium
Description[]
Plants bloom from spring to fall with two to five 3.5 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant and long lasting.
Distribution[]
Plant is found near rivers in the subtropical forest of Assam India, easten Himalayas, Bhutan, Sikkim, Myanamar, Thailand, Laos, southern China and Vietnam at elevations of 300 to 1300 meters
Culture[]
Plants are grown in intermediate to cool conditions in diffused light. Water regularly in the summer and give a 3 to 4 week resting period in winter. During resting period withhold watering and mist the bulbs lightly to prevent them from shriveling about once a week. Plant is best mounted or grown in medium fir bark.
