Dracula saulii is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Dracula.

Description[]

Dracula saulii is a recent discovery from Peru and distinct. The flower is snow-white on the inside, with a pink-brown band on the outside. The inside of the flower is covered in something that is almost too thick to be called "hair". Most unusually, the dorsal tail is one-half to one-third the length of the lateral tails. Multiple clones are in cultivation already; some have strongly reflexed sepals, making the bloom appear almost like a rounded snowball, while others with less reflexed sepals retain a more typical triangular shape.
