Description[]
Plant blooms in the spring to summer with two to three 10 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.
Distribution[]
Plant is found growing in the dry oak and pine forest of Durango, Sinaloa, Jalisco, Michoacan, Guerrerro and Mexico states of Mexico at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters
Culture[]
Plants grow in cool to intermediate conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light is recommended. Lengthen drying period a bit in the winter.
