Plant blooms from fall through spring with several 3 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant during the nighttime.

Plant is found growing in the dry forest of Ecuador and Peru at elevations of 30 to 300 meters
Culture[]
Plants grow in warm conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light.
