Epidendrum stamfordianum is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Epidendrum.


Plant blooms during any season with many 3.75 cm wide fragrant flowers.


Plant is found growing on branches in the dry forest of Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Venezuela at elevations of 20 to 800 meters.


Plants grow in warm conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light is recommended. Lengthen drying period a bit in the winter. Plant can remain dormant for two years after collecting date before response in cultivation.
