Plant blooms from spring to early summer with four to six 5 cm wide flowers.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in the Himalayas, Assam India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanamar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, southern China and Taiwan at elevations of 1000 to 2150 meters
Culture[]
Plant requires intermediate to warm temperatures and medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. From fall to winter reduce water and resume normal watering patterns when new shoots appear in spring. Plant is best mounted. Pot in medium fir bark with perlite or sphagnum moss.
