Plants are found in Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guianas, Ecuador and Northern Brazil at elevations around 150 meters
Description[]
Plant blooms in the summer with many 6.25 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant with the scent of cloves. The species is distinguished by having each flower 5 cms distant from the previous one.
Culture[]
Plants are usually grown in wooden baskets in partial shade. Use a well drain potting media such as medium fir bark with perlite, tree fern fibers, or sphagnum moss. Keep area humid and grow in warm temperatures. Keep mix moist but not dry.
