Habenaria medusa is a species of genus Habenaria
Description[]
Plant blooms from spring to summer with many 9 cm wide flowers.
Plant was first described in 1893 by Kränzlin in Botanische Jahrbücher fur Systematik, Pflanzengeschichte und Pflantzengeographie.
Distribution[]
Plant is found in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Borneo, Java, Sulawesi and Sumatra at elevations around 600 meters.
Culture[]
Grow in cool to warm temperatures and shady conditions. It grows well in a loose medium, in particular one with leaf mold, perlite, soil, and sharp sand. Plant should be kept in a deep pot. After leaves drys out with hold watering until new shoots appear from the tuber
