Plant blooms in the spring with a single 2 cm wide flower.
Distribution[edit | edit source]
Plant is found in the low montane forest of Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia at elevations of 0 to 750 meters
Culture[edit | edit source]
Plant can be grown in a fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Grow in cool conditions with medium amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.
