Mormolyca, abbreviated as Mlca in horticultural trade, is a genus of orchids comprising of 9 species native to Central America and northern South America.

Description[]

Plants are small epiphytes with waxy pseudobulbs and 4 waxy pollina.

Culture[]

Plant can be grown in a well drain mix such as fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Plants are best mounted or grown in baskets. Grow in warm conditions with moderate amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.
