Paphiopedilum × frankeanum is a natural paphiopedilum hybrid that blooms from late winter to spring. It is found in Sumatra.

Plant should be grown in areas with moderate to bright light and intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite or sphagnum moss. Water regularly about every four to five days. To induce blooming drop the temperature slightly for three weeks. Keep the buds in shade for a more saturated flower color.
