Plant blooms in the spring with a single 7 cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing on limestone rocks with leaf litter, on Palawan Island, Philippines at elevations of 700 to 900 meters. The area is subjected to random heavy rains during the winter155, infrequent rains during the spring, and heavy rains during the summer and fall.

Plant should be grown in areas with moderate to bright light and warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite or sphagnum moss. Water heavily about every two to three days or the plant will wither.
