Paphiopedilum haynaldianum is a species of Paphiopedilum found in Asia.
Description[]
Plant blooms in the spring with one to seven 15 cm wide flowers.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing on rocks and decaying leaves in Tarlac and Rizal mountain provinces of Luzon, Negros province in the Philippines at elevations of 0 to 1400 meters. The habitat is constantly moist with high humidity. Spring has light rains and the summer has heavy rains.
Culture[]
Plant should be grown in areas with moderately to bright light and intermediate temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite. Water regularly about every four to five days. To induce blooming reduce watering in the spring. The plant prefers an open media. Leave three growths for constant blooming.
