Description[]
Plant blooms in the fall with a single 6 cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in leave litter and on the limestone cliffs of Ha Giang, Yunnan, and Guangxi provinces of China and in Northern Vietnam at elevations of 910 to 1400 meters. In the winter and spring the area is subjected to heavy fog and drizzles.
Culture[]
Plant should be grown in areas with bright light and intermediate temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite. Species can tolerate many different potting mediums. Water regularly about every four to five days. Water more during the summer. Keep plant well circulated to enable flowering. To induce blooming lower temperature and reduce watering during the winter.
