Plant blooms in the spring with up to seven 7 cm wide flowers.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in leaf mulch in groups on the dense forest floor of the province of Angusan, Philippines at 460 to 500 meters. The area has moderate rainfall during the winter and spring and heavy rainfall during summer through fall.
Culture[]
Plant should be grown in areas with moderate to bright light and intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite or sphagnum moss. Water regularly about every four to five days. To induce blooming subject the plant to bright light for ten to twelve hours a day.
