Paphiopedilum sanderianum is a species of Paphiopedilum found in Asia.
Description[]
Plant blooms in the spring with up to four 10 cm wide flowers.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing on limestone rock in shade with roots in mossy cracks and on trees with roots and moss detritus. The area is subjected to warm moist winters, dry springs with high humidity, summer and fall has heavy rainfall. Spring is the hottest season and winter is the coolest.
Culture[]
Plant should be grown in areas with moderate light and intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite. Water regularly about every four to five days. Water more frequently in the summer but reduce watering on cool days. to induce flowering provide a short winter rest.
