Description[]
Plant blooms in the spring with a up to two 10 cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in leaf litter in the coniferous forest of Central Sumatra, Indonesia at elevations of 600 to 1200 meters. The area is subjected to heavy rain from winter to spring and light rains from summer to fall.
Culture[]
Keep plants in moderate lighting with humidity at 60 to 80% with an intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium 70% fir bark and 30% perlite. Plant tolerates different mediums. To induce blooming, reduce watering and lower temperatures during the winter.
