Description[]
Plant blooms from summer to fall with up to ten 9.5 cm wide flowers. The plant is a tetraploid with 76 chromosomes instead of 38 of Phalaenopsis pulcherrima.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in the lowland forest of Indo-China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Culture[]
Grow in intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in medium fir bark and keep in moderate light. Water about once a week. Keep plant fairly moist but not wet.
