Phalaenopsis lindenii is an Phalaenopsis species endemic to the Philippines.
Description
Plant flowers from summer to fall with up to 40 flowers which are about 2.5 to 3.5cm wide. It is threatened by habitat loss. This is the coolest growing species of the genus.
Distribution
Plants grow in the forest of the Philippines at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
Culture
Grow cool to intermeidiate. Pot in medium fir bark and keep in partial shade. Water about once a week. Keep plant fairly moist but not wet.
