Phalaenopsis pantherina is an species in the genus Phalaenopsis.
Description[]
Plant blooms from winter through summer with several 4 cm flowers. Flowers are fragrant with a sweet scent.
This species can be differs from Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi its different lip and it differs from Phalaenopsis mannii by its long isthmus to the middle lobe of the lip.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing on trees in the lowland forest of Borneo at elevations of 0 to 800 meters.
Culture[]
Grow in intermeidiate to warm temperatures. Pot in medium fir bark and keep in partial shade. Water about once a week. Keep plant fairly moist but not wet.
