Plants are found on tree trunks and branches in wet cloud forest in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters.
Description[]
Plant blooms in summer with up to three fragrant flowers per inflorescence. Flowers are vanilla scented and 9 to 10 cm wide.
Culture[]
Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
