Distribution
Plants are found on the western slope of the Andes mountains in Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters
Description
Plant blooms in summer with four to seven 15 cm fragrant flowers.
Culture
Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in cool to warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
