Description[]
Plant blooms from summer to fall with 3 to 10 flowers. Flowers are 12.5 cm wide and fragrant. The flowers last 2-4 days.
Distribution[]
The plant is found growing on rocks an trees in the humid forest of Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Venezuela at 800 to 2700 meters in elevation.
Culture[]
Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
