Trigonidium, abbreviated as Trgdm in horticultural trade, is a genus of orchids comprising of more than 20 species


They are distributed from Mexico to Brazil.


Plants in this genus have flowers with four pollina in the lip.


Plant can be grown in a well drain mix such as fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Plants are best mounted or grown in baskets. Grow in warm conditions with moderate amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.


This genus is named after the flower sepals having an acute angled triangle
